Return to Me

If you’re standing at an open door, but lack the discipline to walk through, are you a prisoner? Maybe it’s not that you lack discipline, maybe it’s fear holding you back. Perhaps it is just your reluctance to change. What if your life depends on making that change . . . walking through that open door?
In this message I recount a story of Raynald III, a fourteenth century duke, who was literally a prisoner of his own appetite. If you have a moment, listen. It’s a remarkable story.
Do you need a breakthrough? Then break out! Break out of the norm and do something different! If you keep doing the same thing, you’ll keep getting the same thing. But I believe God wants to mark your life with incredible breakthrough.
Whatever battle you are facing, God can turn into victory.
“So David went to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, ‘As waters break out, the Lord has broken out against my enemies before me.’ So that place was called Baal Perazim” (2 Samuel 5:20).
Let’s make 2017 a year of victories, a year of breakthrough! Let’s do something different to get something different. I love that Samuel said, “the Lord has broken out.” Yes, Samuel had breakthrough—victory and success—but only because the Lord broke out! Like the waters bursting through a dam, the Lord can suddenly and dramatically change what’s in front of you.
Here’s the obstacle. It requires action on your part. It’s not enough to want change. You must be willing to make change!
If you want to have a breakthrough year, then begin by seeking God. No one I can find in the Bible ever had breakthrough without first seeking God. David sought God, and God answered. Jehoshaphat sought God, proclaimed a fast, and God answered. When you seek God through fasting and prayer, He’ll show up. He desires to be in your presence, He desires to be invited, He desires to be in relationship with you!
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13).
Are you a prisoner of your own appetite? Are you so chained to your ways that you’re not willing to let go and pursue something greater? Are you held hostage by your own fears? God is the healer of broken dreams. He is the restorer of lost years. God reconciles families and reconciles His people back to Him. But I believe He’s asking you to make a move. Will you walk through that door?
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened” (Matthew 7:7-8).

I have been fasting most specifically for justice for the murder of both my parents. One was tortured by the judicial probate court system chemically restrained to death on psychtropic drugs. Our assets were confiscated by this same system. Noboby seems concerned about the genocide of our elderly by the courts manifesting itself in mass porportions across this country simply to steal our assets. Wouldn't it be better spent in ministries? I find this sad. That being said I had to go to a birthday party for a neighbor last night and had a chance to witness for God. Of course there were certain things I could not eat and they noticed. I tried to ward off their questions but I was pushed for an answer as to why I couldn't eat certain foods. They ask if I was dieting and I told them I was fasting. They seemed perplexed and I said "dieting is for your self. Fasting is for God". I need God to intercede and get justice that he promised me that I have been hurting for for 11 years. I'm tired and feel like I can't hold on. I explained to them about the Esther fast then converting to Daniel's. To God be the glory. Here is a juice recipe I found. I LOVE this. In your juicer 1 lemon 1 cucumber 1 TBLSP grated ginger 1 TBLSP aloe vera juice bunch of parsley or cilantro 1/2 glass of water If I make a lot I freeze part of it for later. I could drink this everyday. Rosanna

You are speaking to me. Its just astho you have just read my mail. 13 yrs. I have been held hostage because I have let it happen. I have declared that NO. I refuse to stay where I'am at now. God cant use me where I have let myself lay. I have decided that 2018 is my year to rise again and live and be a better servant for the Lord. Betty Canterbury
