Take A Leap

There were prophecies about John the Baptist hundreds of years before he was born. And even when he was in his mother’s womb, he leaped when he heard the voice of Jesus’ mother; he knew he had a purpose. There are prophecies just like that about you, and you have the same assignment to tell everyone about Jesus. You are never too young to begin doing what you were born to do.

Key Scriptures:

Luke 1:41-45; Isaiah 40:3; Malachi 4:5-6; Luke 5:13-17; John 1:29; Psalms 139:13; Isaiah 49:16; 1 Peter 2:9; Job 3:16; Matthew 11:11

Key Points:

  1. You should get excited when Jesus enters the room. John the Baptist leaped in the womb when he knew that Jesus was in the room. When you sense Jesus in the room, you should raise your hands, shout, or even leap! We still believe in Pentecostal worship.
  2. You are never too young to walk in your assignment. God has a purpose for your life! No matter your age, it is time to walk in your assignment.
  3. There is potential in everyone. You are not an accident. You were born to do something for God! But it will require you to say yes to Jesus and take a leap of faith. God intended you to be mighty in purpose and destiny!
  4. The promise God has for you is still alive. John the Baptist’s purpose did not start with a great sermon. Although he reached many people with the message of repentance and water baptism, it started when he just took a leap.

Final Thoughts:

Don’t wait for the perfect circumstances to walk in your assignment. Just take a leap of faith!  You have potential, regardless of your  age. There are prophecies over your life waiting to be fulfilled. God has great plans for you, and it all starts when you take a leap of faith.
