A Changed Family – Meet Madame Gustav

Madame Gustav and her husband have four children, three boys and one girl. For many years, they lived in extremely difficult conditions in Haiti. Their home was a mud hut with a leaky straw roof. Her children didn’t have beds and slept on a dirt floor. Clean water was difficult to obtain. The family constantly battled hunger and sickness.

Now they live in Kingdom Connection Village. Her family has food to eat and, because of the wells in the Village, they have clean water to drink. She even has fruit trees in her yard!

Madame Gustav said she is thankful for the food she receives each month, the house her family lives in, and the new Marketplace that has been built by Pastor Franklin and Kingdom Connection partners. She’s also says that she’s happy that her new house doesn’t have any dust!

1 John 3:17-18 (NKJV) says, But whoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. As we open up our hearts to people in need in Haiti, we are showing the love of God in deed and in truth. And it will change the future of families for generations to come.
