A Call to Pray, Fast, & Vote

In 2 Kings 13 the King of Israel seeks counsel from Elisha because they were under attack. Elisha instructs him to take a bow and arrows and “Shoot!” Then he proclaims, “The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance.” Those arrows represented God’s available power. Today the enemy has come into our nation like a flood, but God has given us the arrows of deliverance! He has given us power through prayer, fasting and the right to vote.

Pray:

Prayer still moves the heart of God. “If My people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sins and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

Fast:

I’m asking tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, even millions of people to join me for three days of fasting and prayer on November 6th-8th, to see His will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Join believers all over the world as we fast for a nation at a crossroads . . . and a world that is watching.

Vote:

I am calling for prayer, fasting and Christians by the millions to go to the polls and vote! We must no longer contend that the spiritual is to be separated from the governmental. Transformed people and transformed churches, transform the culture by standing up for what is right. The voice of God’s people must be heard as a chorus of unity and a force for justice. We must vote for candidates who most closely align with our biblical principles and values.
