Power of Praise

Therefore I will give thanks to you, O LORD, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name.
-2 Samuel 22:50

Paul and Silas were arrested, beaten, and thrown into prison (Acts 16). But at midnight when the two began to pray and praise God, their situation began to change.

Then they started singing, the jail started to tremble; God had arrived! Revival broke out in the jail and the prison doors opened.

When you begin to praise Him, you can bring God right into the middle of your circumstances of brokenness or darkness.

Sickness, disease, and fear are no match for the power of praise. Release the authority of Jesus in your life by walking in praise. When you get in trouble, it takes praise to deliver you. Break through the grip of the python with the power of praise. Praise even if you don’t feel like it, even if it is not a convenient time. Praise confounds the enemy and releases the power of God into your situation.

THINK ABOUT IT—
Are you finished with worry? Are you done with fear? Remember, you have victory in Jesus’ name! Start praising!

PRAYER FOR TODAY—
Heavenly Father,
You are worthy of my praise. I thank You for Your blessings in my life. I worship You for who You are—all powerful and full of love. I praise Your name today. Amen.
