Fashioned to Perfection (3)

The devil has convinced many people that they are not worthy. He whispers self-criticism and self-despising thoughts into our ears. He wants to put in our heads that we will never be good enough. If you hear voices telling you that you are not righteous enough, not holy enough, and not valuable enough, they come from the enemy of your soul, Satan.

The enemy is out to destroy you. He wants to poison your life and the lives of those around you. And it begins with your self-image. If he can make you despise yourself and, despise others, God is just a short step away.

But God loves you. It is as simple as that. He lovingly created you and has amazing plans for your life. God wants you to feel good about yourself. He wants you to see the potential He sees in you.

Start giving thanks on a daily basis for what God has given you … including your physical imperfections. When you are weak, God is your strength. “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). It is only in your weakness that you can experience the strength of God.
