Be The Vessel

In the story of Elijah and the miracle of the oil, the widow woman determined the magnitude of her miracle by choosing the number of available vessels. In the same way, we determine how much of the miraculous power of God flows into our life. Heaven has an endless supply of power and miracles. The issue is finding a clean, empty vessel to pour them into.

If you’ll be clean, empty and willing, God will send His anointing, fill you and use you. The oil is available and plentiful. Are you willing to be a vessel?

Connection Point

2 Kings 4:3-6 (NLT): “And Elisha said, ‘Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors. Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you. Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.’ So she did as she was told. Her sons kept bringing jars to her and she filled one after another. Soon every container was full to the brim! ‘Bring me another jar,’ she said to one of her sons.’ ‘There aren’t any more!’ he told her. And then the olive oil stopped flowing.”
