We consider it a great privilege to be a Connection Partner with Jentezen Franklin Media Ministries. We recognize the importance of sharing the gospel message beyond the Gainesville area. There are many around the U.S. and the world, including family and friends, who need to hear the Truth of the Gospel. Many hurting people are comforted and given hope through Pastor Franklin's messages. The unsaved are also brought into the Kingdom. We are blessed to be able to help support this ministry as a Partner and we give glory to God for allowing us this opportunity to be a part of this mandate, praying that many more lives will be changed and brought into the Kingdom.

The biggest impact Jentezen Franklin's ministry has had on my life is through teachings on fasting, prayer and first fruits. This discipline at the beginning of each year, for the past three years, has resulted in my son being saved and my daughter being on fire for the Lord. I now have a new job paying a 100-fold return on my first fruit offering. Without Pastor Franklin's teachings on fasting, I would not be practicing this discipline, and would not be seeing the many victories in my family's life!

In 2006 I started praying about where we should become a partner or even if we should. Later that year I received my answer: Jentezen Franklin Media Ministries. It is not just another TV ministry. We matter to them and they feed us. I compare them this way, God never turns His back on us, God is always there for us and it is not just a one sided relationship. We have found that it is the same with Jentezen Franklin Media Ministries; we know we can count on them! We have an entire neighborhood that calls us their "hotline to God." They know they can count on us to help them and pray for them, but we are teaching them how to do it for themselves.

I was first introduced to Pastor Jentezen Franklin's ministry in 1998 while attending Bible College in Phoenix, Arizona. Over the next several years, my wife and I prayerfully and financially supported Kingdom Connection from a distance. At the beginning of 2004, while pastoring in Phoenix, the Holy Spirit impressed upon my wife and I to leave Arizona and plant a church in Sarasota, FL. One Sunday afternoon, in the spring of 2004, I was watching Kingdom Connection and Pastor Franklin asked partners to help with the purchase of new television equipment for the new Free Chapel campus. I made a decision to give a $1000.00 seed offering and to come into agreement with the Kingdom Connection vision. During this time, my wife and I had our house on the market. Right after I sowed the $1000.00 seed, my door bell rang and our neighbors offered us $4000.00 over asking price, for our house. Our house had only been for sale one day and we were able to sell it without the assistance of a real estate agency. Since that time we have continued to sow, financially, into Jentezen Franklin Ministries. I consider Jentezen Franklin to be a mentor and personal blessing to my life. I am thankful for the opportunity to be partnered with Pastor Jentezen Franklin!

On the seventh day of my 21-day fast, my brother, who I had been praying for, received Christ into his life and the gift of salvation. Praise God.

Years ago I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. My colon was kinked, doctors wanted to put a bag on my side. I went on a fast this year and I actually felt the kink in my colon being untwisted as God was putting it back. I just praise God! I feel so much better and am full of energy. God is still in the healing business. This is what fasting truly will do.

May I share a praise?
I still have many requests, my husband still hasn’t found work in over a year. But I really want to share all the GOOD GOD has done! HIS word has come alive in so many ways!!

1) When we learned about the upcoming arrival of our son, I was devastated, we are a blended family with 3 kids already- so.... we needed bigger cars, new baby stuff, etc. I fasted during my pregnancy and felt his name should be Gracen, so I would always remember God’s great grace during the 9 months! When Camdan GRACEN arrived, there are not words to describe the joy he has brought our home!! And I know he has a special calling on his life!

2) During the fast I prayed to be a stay at home mom.... After 3 months of maternity leave it was go back to work or starve. I was so angry at my husband for "not doing good enough" and wondered where God was. I had to die to self and repent. And accepted returning to my job (of 10 yrs). I ONLY worked maybe 2 hours and was laid off with a severance package that was more than my salary for the rest of the year!!!

3) Then my husband lost his job.... our marriage has been attacked, along with our family- I am so thankful to say WE MADE IT! I love my husband more today than I ever thought I could love another person!!!

4) for our wedding anniversary, we were even blessed to be pampered at the Ritz
God has done so many incredible miracles for us financially! Spiritually and HE keeps working!! Just a couple of weeks ago I received a letter that I still had a pension!! WOW! I thought I had liquidated all our assets what a sweet surprise! I just cried and thanked my JESUS!!

HE cares such incredible amounts for us!! For our needs, our wants our desires! HE made a way for us to experience fun! And in all this I have grown! The transition is hard and painful at times, but I KNOW my HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES ME AND CARES!!!

My husband and I will soon start school for career changes! I feel the calling to be a nurse, my husband is doing mechanical man type stuff :)) I am so excited!! I saw on Joyce Myers where she is opening a women’s ministry that will work close with the dream center in CA- wouldn’t it be cool if we ended up on the west coast! Me helping women, my hubby designing cars... who know what the future holds- all I know is its GOOD!!! Good days are ahead I AM PERSUADED!!!

Dear Jentezen,

I want to thank you for the work you are doing for our Lord Jesus. Your preaching has touched my life in such a significant way. I went through a bad divorce in 2008 , in that time I listened to your sermons every week and it encouraged me in a significant way. I remarried on the 17th January’09 and we (myself and my husband) did your 21 day fast from the 1st of January 2009. This was the best way we could have started our year.

My husband is a medical doctor, and one of his patients did fertility and blood tests with one of the best fertility doctor’s around. The test came back and he was found to be 100% sterile, and the blood tests look very poor. This was devastating news to Gary (his patient), because they are also newlyweds and want children so desperately. My husband and I started a 3-day fast for our friends.

I received a call yesterday, telling me that the husband’s blood and sperm test was done again and this time the results showed that he has a 100% sperm count, and the blood test came back so good that the gynaecologist said it can’t be the same persons results. He did not know about us fasting, and when my husband told him he admitted that he was also very surprised about the good results.

I wanted to share this good news with you, seeing that our friends are both Jews and now they also know about the amazing grace of Jesus Christ.

There is power in prayer, but linked with fasting is supernatural!!!!

I joined your 21 days fast this year. One of my prayers was for a friend of mine who has been ill for some time. God is answering my prayers. Her health is improving and the doctors are confirming it. I know in joining my faith with other believers God has shown Himself faithful and strong on our behalf. I’m writing to let you know that God answered our prayers and that even though we didn’t get the place we thought was a good deal, God blessed us with an even better deal….. far below the cost of what we were thinking about. Instead of having to come up with over $600 for the deposit and application fee, we only needed to come up with a $99 move in fee. No app. fee, no deposit. I am SSOOOO excited & wanted to share with you what the Lord is doing in my life! I began the 21 day fast with you on Jan. 4. I had never done an extended fast before, & I had difficulty in completing even a short fast in the past, but felt led to fast with you. LET ME TELL YOU, IT HAS BEEN LIFE CHANGING, PRAISE GOD!!! May I share with you how God has honored the fast to bring about radical change in my life? I was saved when I was 7 & recommitted several years ago after I had wandered down the wrong path. Although I know that I am saved, I have always struggled with having a close relationship with Jesus. I loved Him, but actually had a better relationship with God & the Holy Ghost than with Jesus. I had always heard people say that they were "in love" with Jesus & oh, how I wanted that, but couldn't reach it! That is until this past Wednesday night. I had been fasting, spending time in the Word & with God in prayer & worship so when we got to church I was already ready! I was already moved by the Holy Ghost by the time for the offertory! During this time there were some ladies in the service, sitting on our left, that were, well, being disrespectful by talking pretty loudly & cutting up. I was upset because I was already in worship mode. Then the same thing happened on our right side. I asked my husband to let me out from where we were sitting, that I HAD to go to the altar. So?, you ask...the thing is that I grew up always being so concerned at what someone else thought about me that I NEVER would have got up in the middle of a service to go to the altar! We were sitting on the back row & as soon as my husband let me out I couldn't get to the altar fast enough!!! All I wanted to do was to praise JESUS & to worship HIM!!! The same ladies who were having a secular party on God's time in HIS house gathered around me at the altar to pray for me & all I could pray between sobs was, "Jesus I just want You! I just want You, Jesus"!!! That space & void between Jesus & I was INSTANTLY broken as I fell totally, completely, head over heels in love with my Savior, Jesus Christ!!!!! For the first time in my life I didn't care who was watching me! I just knew that I HAD to have Jesus!!! Our Father used the fast to break me & get ME out of the way & then there was such an outpouring of absolute pure, I'm totally sold out in love with my Betrothed!!! It made all of the difference in the world! I went from loving Jesus to being IN LOVE with Him! It went from being an engagement of convenience to get to heaven to an engagement of PASSION to my Lord & King!!! What a difference He's made in my heart!!! It took 39 years for me to get to the place to put me aside in a spirit of brokenness, as I'd been fasting & be TOTALLY sold out to Jesus!!! I've never known such love!!! This is the love I've been wanting, craving to have with Jesus, but there had been one major problem in the equation...Me! It was in my brokeness that I could worship Jesus with my whole heart & not care who watched or what they thought! I just don't care anymore! I JUST WANT JESUS!!! I hope that this is making sense! And other benefits are that my prayer life is sweeter & stronger! I can't wait to get back into the Word! I can't wait to get to church! Mostly, though, I can't wait to spend time with Jesus! The heart change is making a difference in my relationship with others, & my zeal to witness! I stand up in services to worship with upraised hands & don't care who's watching! I am SSSOOOOO thankful!!! I wanted to share this with you, say thank you & to encourage you in the Lord! I am forever grateful for this bondage being broken off of me!!! A friend had given me the fasting book and I had thought I would read it but put it up and forgot about. Then one Sunday our pastor called a fast. He has done this before but it was always a 7 day fast. But this time said GOD told him it would be a 21 day fast and it would be for lost souls. So I said I would go with this but it would have to be GOD calling me. I had gone on 7 days fasts before, never a 21-day fast. I was praying about doing the fast, when two days later I found the fasting journal. It was the journal to a 21 day fast and that confirmed how AWESOME GOD is and He had a plan for me. And He did. It was life changing. It was much different than the 7 day fast I had gone on. When the last day came to a close, I felt like a lot being loosed and there was such a closeness that I had never had before. I would do it over and over again. Thank you for those books, they have meant a lot to my life.

Testimony from healing service after 2009 21-day fast

PASTOR, I AM HEALED, HEALING SERVICE, JAN. 21, 2009!!!

In 2006, I was in an auto accident. At healing service this evening, went through prayer line and back to stand in row where previously seated. Felt tingling in left side of my face, left eye, left ear, back of neck, and tailbone in lower back. The tingling continued for about 10-15 minutes.

Hearing is restored, blurred vision is gone, left temple is no longer tender and sore to the touch.

I told my friends the good news right after the healing service.

Was partially healed in 2007 when praying in church service at Free Chapel. That time felt like electricity running through my face. In 2007, was also partially healed of daily headache, felt like electricity running through my face for about 20-25 minutes at Benny Hinn healing service in Atlanta.

Because of partial healings in 2007, know muscles want to go back to postition they were in for past 2 years 7 months. I had to rebuke the unhealthy spirits that tried to control the muscles for 2-3 days after the healings.

As of today, January 21, 2009, I know rainstorms and weather changes, cold fronts, will no longer keep me from being able to concentrate and focus on daily tasks. I claim it in the name of Jesus.

This time, the healing is 100% and am as good as, or even better than before.

P.S. I share your vision of the food distribution in nations where starving occurs and nations where children suffer from lack of vitamin A in their diet twice a week. Had a somewhat similar vision in Spring 2008. This is affirmation of your vision.

Hi all at Free Chapel and Pastor Franklin,

I would like to thank you Pastor Franklin for your vision on fasting. I have for some time wondered if fasting really still had power in our time. This morning after having completed the 21 day fast it felt to me after being able to eat normally again if that special connection that I had with God over the last 3 weeks was severed, as if the plug was pulled. I know that this not true however this time was so special and I know that I have moved closer to God.

I can also see how God healed my relationship with my wife and for the first time in 15 years of marriage we are praying together and God has done special work in us. God created the opportunity for me to share the gospel with 6 people at work all at the same time and God is moving in some of these people’s lives. My wife is helping a friend who was on the brink of divorce and through the power of the Holy Ghost that marriage is busy healing and we give God the glory.

I cannot let go of Jesus and will always have the desire to seek his presence and walk with him.

I hope that when you open your offices in South Africa you will pick Cape Town and hopefully we will be able to meet you some time.

Thank you so much for helping me with my fast. This was my first fast ever and I committed to only fasting 3 days from any solid foods. On the last day of my fast, I received a settlement I had been waiting on. It was 10-fold of what I had expected.

I plan on going on a longer fast soon.

I just wanted to take the time and give a praise report I have been on a fast this year and years ago I was diagnosed with IBS Disease they told me then my colon looked like a 80 year old woman’s and I was in my 30's and I am in my 40's now and it was kinked and they wanted to put a bag on my side and I wouldn't let them I said God will have to heal it and I would do what I had to do till then well during this fast God done a divine healing on me I actually felt the kink in my colon being untwisted as God was putting it back the way he created it. I just praise God I feel so much better and I am full of energy. I just wanted to let others know that God is still in the healing business and what fasting truly will do.

We got an 8 x 10 photo of our CT on Dec 14th and another one of the current CT...it is truly GONE! I had to check the name on the print out but it is completely disappeared! Talk about a great visual! Now that would make a good show and tell! I asked the doctor what he was expecting to see when he ordered the CT. His answer was 'I wanted to see that we were headed down the right path and I did expect to see SOME shrinkage'..I asked him if he expected it to be gone and he said no...he said this was the best results he could have ever asked for..Just as the nurse told me, he went on to explain how we now burn down the barn to kill the rats..you proceed just as planned to completely CURE this disease..not treat it but CURE it! Sounds good to me....in the doctor's eyes, my husband is not at all cancer free..just because the visible tumor is gone there are probably thousands of cancer cells trying to form a tumor right now..but the good news is he responded amazingly to the treatment and hopefully if we complete this whole program this will be the only CaringBridge site I will ever create!

One more piece of news we learned that day..the doctor told us that some people, even when they are cancer free NEVER have a clear CT like this. For some reason , this particular type of lymphoma likes to leave a residual type of scar tissue in the chest where the mass was..he said that it can really be difficult years later when there is this scar tissue trying to make sure it is just scar tissue and not cancer cells..WHAT A BLESSING!!! God wanted to take away any DOUBT and make it clean and easy to detect...he didn't even leave the scar tissue! I would always be worrying about that 'scar tissue' and wondering if it was growing back,etc...just an added little extra that God threw in for us!

Thank you for the fabulous book on fasting. I read it in two days. I could hardly put it down when I began reading it. I will make fasting a part of my life from this day forward.

I bought the book on fasting in South Africa and when the book arrived, I could not put it down, I prayed the whole night reading the book and by 4 in the morning, I finished reading it. In April of this year my daughter got sick. She is 8 years old and has been in and out of hospitals for the past six years and doctors said she had chronic bronchitis, pneumonia and half her right lung has been destroyed by an unknown virus. When she got sick, I decided to use the ultimate weapon, FASTING FOR THREE DAYS (FULL FASTING). On the final day of my fasting I woke up in the morning and went to work. I phoned home during the day and heard my daughter's laughter in the background. I was so shocked. I spoke to her on the phone and she was well, happy and playing. NOBODY COULD HAVE PERFORMED SUCH A MIRACLE ON MY DAUGHTER EXCEPT GOD AND I GIVE PRAISE TO HIM ALL THE TIME. It has been five months now and she has gained weight, is happy and can dream of the future like healthy children. PRAISE BE TO GOD. HALLELUJAH.

For the first time in my life, I tried an Esther fast. I had to do it because my marriage was going down the drain. My husband and I had separated three months prior to my fast. We were sure our nine years of marriage was over. The separation caused me to draw closer to God and I was moved by the Holy Spirit to fast for my marriage. After completing the fast, making a commitment to God and being obedient, within one month, my husband called me and asked me to reconcile. I knew God was going to do something GREAT with the fast, however, I was SHOCKED at how quickly and easily things took a turn for the better. It’s now two months since the reconciliation and I have incorporated one day of fasting every week so I can stay in tuned with God. FASTING really works! There are some things that cannot happen unless we pray and fast!!

Fasting book

Dear Jentezen:
I wanted to email you and "thank you" for the fabulous book, fasting. I read it in two days and have reread it in some parts since. Being raised in a traditional Baptist church I do not remember ever being taught about fasting. However, I had heard of it and had a vague idea of what it was. In 2006, I was in a situation that I needed divine help not just prayer. I fasted one meal per day for a week. God got me through all of that. Recently, I would have to say I was and am a desperate woman. I needed God in a mighty way and I needed him NOW. I decided to fast knowing little about it. I began my fast August 4, 09 and was going for 21 days and made it through August 11, 09. I have low blood sugar and I began to have minor problems. My commitment was to give up breakfast every day which is my most important meal. I did this with no problem until the 11th. I stopped fasting. Five days later guess what???????

On Sunday August 16, 09 I walked in Wal-Mart and leaping out at me on the book rack was your face and the book fasting. I knew it was for me without question. I scanned through it and purchased it. I could hardly put it down when I began reading it. I have shared it with others and plan to purchase a copy to mail to a minister in Detroit. ONE AWESOME BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will make fasting a part of my life from this day forward. My need to do something out of the ordinary to show God I was desperate and sincere in my need for his help had been confirmed. The scriptures you gave throughout the book are scriptures I quote all the time.

With my minimal knowledge of fasting my motive was sincere and I was doing the right thing. You taught me how to do more and gave me so much more. I am anxious to fast again as I still need God's help in a mighty way.

My needs were as follows--An unsaved uncle with Parkinson who has since died. My mother is 92 has congestive heart failure, an enlarged heart, mitro valve prolapse, two leaking valves and family members creating stress and problems, my son who is smoking something he should not and has an addiction to women. A dear, dear friend whom I love dearly who has had 2 heart attacks, is a diabetic, has a liver disease and has an addiction to women also. With this prayer list I realized apart from God I COULD DO NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please pray with me in these situations. I definitely wanted to email you and let you know how much your book touched my life in a desperate time. I will never, never forget that day when I saw your smiling face on that book and that word fasting. I hope it helps others as much as it has touched me.

Since I have low blood sugar is it acceptable to fast one meal per day for 3 days, 7 days and try for 21. If I am doing anything wrong I want to correct it. As I want to do more. I am praying that God will move in the above situations and for my friend that one day he will go to the doctor and the doctor will say I don't understand this but you don't have a liver problem anymore. He will know what happened as he knows I am praying for him and he will have to acknowledge this. That all of these bondages, demon spirits will leave these people I love so very, very, much.

Keep Up The Great Work You are doing. We have started studying, and use your book on fasting in our Bible study class. Man, what a powerful and deep book you have published. Thank God for you, and all those involved in putting this book together it is truly a blessing. Love Ya IN JESUS NAME.

I wrote a few months back about questions on fasting. I read your book and read several times the magazine you all sent. and I began fasting slowly. Our church went on a 21 day fast and I was able to fast with the knowledge I gained from the scriptures and your book. I fasted on the scripture of Matt. 6:33. Halfway through the fast the Lord gave me victory over a debt that I owed the government. I did not even include it in my prayer or goal but when the IRS asked to show up at their office on the 16th of Jan. She said that I would never be able to pay it off. So she canceled my $64,000.00 debt! I just broke down and gave all the honor and glory to our Holy Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for all their love for us. Thanks for wisdom in writing the book "Fasting". It helped to understand what fasting is all about. I will continue to do so that I might have a deeper more intimate relationship with the Father of all creation.
