Would you like to accelerate your destiny? Here’s how.

Whether you call it your purpose, your calling or your destiny, God has a specific plan for your life. He has a destiny planned for you and the choices you make can either delay or accelerate that destiny. Chapter 11 of Hebrews has a list of ordinary people who did extraordinary things for God. Their stories illustrate choices you can make that will accelerate your God-planned destiny.

  1. Moses: Choose to fully commit to God’s plan. Moses defied Pharoah and led Israel out of Egypt. There was no returning; he was fully committed! Any pilot can tell you that there is a “point of no return” during takeoff. It’s the time when all of the runway has been used up and there is no turning back. It’s fly or die! The pilot has to fully commit or he will never fly. The same is true for you. Until you fully commit to God’s plan for your life, you will delay your destiny. You accelerate your destiny when you fully commit to God’s plan and refuse to even consider turning back.

  1. Noah: Choose to focus on God’s plan for you and not on peoples’ opinions. Noah spent years building a giant boat while being mocked by his neighbors, but he continued to follow God’s plan. His family was saved because he wasn’t swayed by anyone’s opinion; he believed God! When you follow God, not everyone will go with you, but you’ll end up where you’re supposed to be. Don’t let someone else’s negativity keep you from accelerating your destiny.

  1. Abraham: Choose to take a step in faith. When Abraham decided to leave home and follow God, he had no idea where that journey would take him. Most likely, neither will you. When you start taking some risks in faith, you will pray like you’ve never prayed before and you will fast like never before because your life depends on it. You will find that God will accelerate your destiny when you step out in faith.

Perhaps you aren’t sure of God’s plan for your life. If you need direction, ask God for it. When you fast, pray for God to define His plans and direction for your life. Pray for divine guidance. God sends clarity of vision to help His people establish His kingdom on the earth. He has a plan, a destiny for your life. Don’t miss it! Don’t delay it! Choose to pursue your God-given destiny with all your heart. Expect 2015 to be a year of increase – a year in which you move rapidly toward God’s amazing plan for your life!
