I had come to the relization that I wanted an needed a closer relationship with God. So I joined the fast. This is truly a testomony of my faith..because I chose to obstain from food..and OMG this truly difficult. I just want to say the scriptres help me maintain my focus…because I really been thinking about putting some hot wings on a blender and liquidfying them…but then I realized…it just would not be the same….help me LORD!!!

just keep praying and that urge for those hot wings will go away. You can do it, just keep the faith because with God nothing is impossible. -

Lord we just cannot do it on our own, so please give us the strength to do it. Please fill our cups and quench the thirsting of our souls. We will do it, all the cravings for food will diminish as we pray and stay closer in communication with Him. Lets not lean on our own understanding but let Him do His will.

I am fasting..I wanted to do the three day liquid but unable to..only fruits and vegetables and water…for 21 days..I can do it because God will help me accomplish this..I love jesus

Day 2 and I am reading fasting edge and praying and fasting and on my way to work my back goes out on me. So i am at work in excruciating pain and I thank God for endurance to get me through this. I won’t give up. I will move forward in fasting and prayer. GOD is good.

I am so happy that the video blogs are going to continue this year. It is one thing to read the journal and devotionals, but it is totally different to see Pastor Franklin and hear him speak.

Second day, and like Jentenzen said, is hard to fast green beans, and more green beans, fruit, but I think is good. It’s not easy, but not impossible when we have God in our ❤’s

i didnt know that there was a three day liquid fast then go into the daniel fast..so i started with the daniel fast..i have fasted before..but was wonderin cause today i didnt feel like i was actually truely sacrifices with the daniel fast as it is a sacrifice to do without some things but somethings it isnt…so i didnt know if i could do a 6 am to 6 pm full fast then at six pm still continue with the daniel fast..anyone have any imput?

When I comitted to this fast, I had a list of things that I would be fasting for and praying to God about – first and foremost that I hear from Him about my life and what He wants me to do and to have a more intimate relationship with Him. I have been praying about my children;grandchildren;family members; financial difficulties; our country; our children in general who are future Kingdom builders who are being attacked; taking back the schools and for God’s people to reign in various areas. I believe God wants us to pray and fast about these things and that He will answer, but after listening to this short video message, I realize that I had my agenda already set and was asking God to bless it and make it happen. I had a set date and location to start an afterschool program that I have been praying about for about 7 years . But now I realize that I must lay all this down and wait to hear from Him to see what He wants me to do. I MUST put God first. I want to accomplish what He has for me to do.

the bible says that the Lord looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God…. and also if you seek Me you will find Me….oh how exciting it is to know that when we made the decision to fast and seek God that He will show up. makes me want to shout
