The Treasure Within You
“We have this treasure in earthen vessels.” 2Co 4:7 NKJV
God has given you talents and He wants you to use them. They may lie dormant under layers of failure, fear, or low self-esteem. You may be aware of them, yet not know how to put them to work. Maybe you’ve been going from relationship to relationship hoping to find someone who will acknowledge what’s within you and draw it out. If so, read this: “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.” Only the God who placed your talents within you knows where they’re hidden and how to release them. Delayed destiny is the Devil’s delight. By not allowing God to develop your talents you play into Satan’s hands, living far below your potential. The fact is, you have so much treasure buried within you that the Enemy is out to steal it. You never have to wonder about Satan’s motives. Jesus said he comes “to steal, kill and destroy” (Jn 10:10 TLB). You don’t try to rob somebody unless they have something worth taking, right? Your talents may be raw and undeveloped, or buried under years of self-doubt, unconfessed sin, bad habits, regret and despair. But God can take something that looks like nothing, and create something wonderful with it. Just think: He made the earth from nothing—so imagine what He can do when He has something to start with! Today get down on your knees and pray, “Father, help me to recognize and maximize the talents You have placed within me, and use them for Your glory.” That’s a prayer God will answer!

Thank You pastor Jenetzen, for your words of encouragement today. I have daughter and her husband in the military, who are saved and 3, young children. Pastor, they do not go to church, but their 6 years old loves going to church. They lives, in New Orlea says:

Oh my, WHAT A WORD! I’m 52 years of age, unemployed for two years, and the devil constantly tries to intimidate me with the lie, that God can’t and won’t ever use me. How can I be a witness for Jesus and struggling in my finances, he says? I have to arrest that spirit of the adversary and continue to seek God’s face. I humble myself under the mighty hand of God because I KNOW THAT I’VE BEEN CALLED TO GREATNESS! I stagger not at the promises of God. I am FULLY PERSUADED that God is able to perform what HE spoke over my life. Thank you and God bless you, man of God.

Hi Patricia,
The devil is a liar. As long as you’re alive and have a desire for God to use you, He will. Read Romans 8 as a weapon for his lies. Read it to the devil, for it is written. He has to flee once the Word is spoken against him. And just begin where you are in letting the Lord use you. It’s in the everyday experiences. Your witness for Jesus is the message of salvation, not your struggling with finances. Lift Him up first and see what He’ll do for your finances. God bless you. -
I was trying to give this testimony this morning and my computer powered off. Whenever I fast, my blood pressure readings are signifcantly low. Praise God! While on this fast, the systolic and diastolic numbers have been even lower! The monitor read—102/72; 104/74. So, I thought to myself, maybe the batteries needed changing, that’s why the readings were inaccurate. Silly me, I changed the batteries and the readings were a little lower! Hello, HE is the God of all flesh, and there is nothing to hard for HIM. Isa 58:8,,,”thine health shall spring forth speedily.” I’m rejoicing because I’ve seen 150/92 and higher. I pray that my testimony will strenghten someone to persevere on this fast. I need God in so many areas of my life, but I’m so grateful for health. I feel so much better now than before the fast; spiritually, emotionally and physically. (Even with my stomach growling.) I know that God is moving in a powerful way during THIS fast. God will sustain you. Pastor Franklin these Devotionals and Videos have strenghtened me so many times when the devil tried to tempt me. I pray God will continue to bless you, your family and FREE CHAPEL. I know the Glory cloud is going to rest in the services on Sunday!

This came to me at the right time; at the beginning of this year I asked God to reveal to me my purpose on earth concerning His kingdom and I have been praying to God to reveal to me my talents and how to use them for His glory and I know He is faithful to His word.

Thank you for this word, I have said at least a thousand times, I have no talents, if I do I don’t have a clue what they could be, I have suffered from failure and low self esteem for years,tonight I prayed the prayer for God to show me my talents so that I might use them for his glory, I haven’t had the break through I was needing in this fast, so I am still holding the arrow, I am not going to stop fasting yet.

hi my name is Daniel.Satin has brought me to my knees many times and i always put God in his face and he runs and i’m able to stand and start again. Hi Pastor, I’m a follower of your program and regulary listen to your podcast preaching. I have to say your obedience to God has really left God with no choice, but to bless your life according to His promised. What I actually want to say is that I joined your 21 day fasting and prayer and it has been powerful. I was praying for spiritual growth in my wife of 10 months and she went forward this past Sunday, when the Pastor made an alter call, something see never did do before. I’m still praying for my father who has not gone to church for 1 full year now. I asked God to give me this sign that my prayers was heared that my father would walk in our church one Sunday. I’m from SA, 26 years old youth leader at a baptist church.
