“Thank You”

“He will not forget how hard you have worked for him.” Heb 6:10 NLT

Are you thinking, “I do so much for others; now I just want a little appreciation in return”? But there doesn’t seem to be any coming, so you feel unappreciated and taken for granted. Just two simple words, but oh how much they mean: “Thank you!” Has it been a long time since you heard them? If so, understand this: others may fail to thank you, but your heavenly Father appreciates all that you do and all that you are. Your work may go uncelebrated, but it will not go unrewarded.

God has put you exactly where He needs you. You are fulfilling His purpose every day. Once you accept that, you’ll find joy and meaning in what you’re doing. God is the reason—others are just the beneficiaries! Don’t let someone else’s response decide your level of joy. They may not notice, but God does. He observes every day and every detail of your life. “God is not unjust. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other believers, as you still do.” Paul writes, “Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord” (Col 3:17 NIV). That’s it—do it for Him!

Why don’t you pray this prayer: “Lord, all that I do, I do for You. I know that You appreciate me; look at the blessings You’ve given me! So I will praise and honor You throughout this day with my thoughts, my words and my deeds. In Christ’s name. Amen.”

This word of today has brought TEAR-OF-JOY!!!!!!! Oh how can I say thanks, for ALL that JESUS has done for me. This word from heaven makes me feel like my father is saying, thank u LISA, for going through the test, waiting on him, keeping the faith in my Lord&Savior, J.E.S.U.S. I was in a horrific car accident in March-2009. Hospitalized 3-months and physical therapy 9-months and I now finally back to work!

grateful for the blood of J.E.S.U.S. that kept&cover me and made me a living testimony! I give myself away so Abba-Father can use me and only J.E.S.U.S alone gets the Glory out of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This devotional resonates with me so clearly. Iti is now, after some years of being a caregiver, that I feel joy in what I do. God who has given me the spiritual and physical strength to care for my husband while still working full time. God who made it possible for my employer to allow flexible work hours at home. I am forever grateful for God’s faithfullness in my life. THANK YOU, Lord!
