Lazarus
“If you would believe you would see the glory of God.” Jn 11:40 NKJV
In the story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead you’ll notice three important principles: (1) Mary and Martha had a close relationship with Jesus before the crisis arose. When Jesus came to town He stayed at their home and ate at their table. They were givers, not takers. You can’t refuse to give God a minute of your time, an ounce of your energy, or a penny of your money, then when trouble comes, say, “Lord, why did You let this happen?” Jesus said, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (Jn 15:7 NKJV). (2) Having a relationship with Jesus doesn’t mean you won’t have trouble. But it does mean that you can go to Him with confidence in times of trouble. Yes, you must pay attention to your career and your family, but you must also pay attention to the most important relationship of all—the one you have with the Lord. “If our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him” (1Jn 3:21-22 NIV). (3) When you bring Jesus into the situation He will change it. Lazarus was already dead and buried by the time Jesus got there. Humanly speaking, it was hopeless. But in moments like these God asks you, “Is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jer 32:27). If your answer is “No, Lord,” then your problem becomes an opportunity for Him to demonstrate His love and care for you.

Trusting in God is where I am right now. Beliving that he can and will do what we thank is impossible. The lord is our strong tower and I believe during this time of fasting, praying, and giving God is going to do awesome, supernatural things in our lives. Like raising Lazarus from the dead! And I know by the power of God we will read of so many breakthroughs, healings, and of souls being saved that’s my praying believing God for the Impossible!

One of my aims for this fast is a closer walk with God through His word and prayer, while I’ve not been a stranger somehow it just seemed to me that there is of late something missing from my relationship with God. I’ve been praying for a miracle of healing in my life for a few years now and even have been testifying of Gods’ power to heal to one doctor and still not healed. I guess this might be the reason I’m thinking that something is wrong in my relationship with God. Pray for me.

Live,speak,act,talk and confess that you are healed. Only a doctors reports may say you are not but choose the report of the Lord.

God is a healer, if we have faith to believe. There’s a lot going on in my life, and it seems that God is not hearing my prayers. But we press for the mark of the high call which is in Christ Jesus!! And remember that this life can not be compared to our heavanly home. I pray that God will just keep everyone , that we’re not so consumed with trails and give up hope. If God be God and we’re living a non practiced sinful life and continue Fasting, Praying, and Giving we shall see the hand of God. Alicia stay strong!

This is my first day on the fast movement of 2013, I have already been blessed, just to be able to read all the comments, replies and everyone’s stories. I’m praying that God will continue to be glorified through this 21 day fast movement 2013. I pray that God will continue to raise dead marriages,relationships, heal sick bodies, and deliver all of his children from the hands of the devil, and that God will bless all of us bountifully with his mercy, and grace as we continue on this fasting journey. My family and I are going to a rough period at the moment. My husband lost his job in October. We are grateful to God that he has recently secured another one. Our Bills are several months behind and we are in danger of losing our house (so the mortgage company says). But we will stand on God’s word. He said that He’s never seen the righteous forsaken nor His seed begging bread. We know that we are going through this temporary season of drought for a purpose. In the end God will get the Glory. We refuse to worry. We will trust God because His track record is flawless! He has never let us down. Let us all stay focused on God and He will show himself MIGHTY!

True that nothing is impossible to El- Shadaï. that is why I come before him during this fasting period with my 8 years old niece who can not read and can not write. She has learning problem, I believe in miracle from God to make her a normal kid. In Jesus’s name, Amen!

My problems have become to big for me – addiction – homelessness – secret sins. I ask God for clear direction and the means to get there.
