DAY SIXTEEN

PERSEVERE!!!!

Once again, HELLO, to all you crazy Christians…you JESUS FREAKS!!! Anyone who is willing to fast for 21 days for more of Jesus is a JESUS FREAK, and I am honored to be one with you!! I do hope you are experiencing the Grace of our Father even the more. That His word has become more alive in you since this Journey has begun.

Earlier this week I felt drawn in my spirit to the book of James. I really felt like the Lord was leading. So out of obedience I did, and the first thing my eyes were drawn to was a passage of Scripture that I had already had highlighted. I really believe this is for all us.

James 1:12-18 (NIV) 12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

When I read this I literally felt the presence of the Lord come over me like a warm embrace…a hug if you will. It’s as if He was telling me “Son, I am proud of you, and I will honor the sacrifice you are making for the desire of more of me”. As many of you might recall from one of my previous blogs I had stated how once you start fasting don’t expect everything to be roses, and I explained some things that have taken place in my personal life since we started the fast. What blew me away was how many of you were experiencing the same thing that I was. So when I read this verse I knew that it was not only for me, but for so many of you as well.

We are in the final stretch if you will. Two weeks down and one to go. If you have been discouraged, don’t be any longer. You are not alone. We are all in this together, and that brings life to me knowing that there is a prayer fleece that has gone out throughout the world over these last 2 weeks that has shown the kingdom of Darkness that we are Force that’s to be reckoned with. We serve a God who says, “If I before you WHO can be against you”. So with that said I am going to stay the course and finish my race. I am going to persevere and be faithful to stand through the test. I don’t want to miss out on the crown that the Lord has promised for me, my family and the generations yet to come.

Are you still Hungry…..TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD!!!!!!

Lord Have Mercy! PA I've been speaking that over my children for the last two weeks... it's amazing how the Spirit of God has us all in tune with Him. Thank U Holy Spirit. We will run this race to the end. The Hunger comes but the word of God is Everlasting!

To Marie(UK) DAY15 blog - My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic stage 4 cancer April 08. God gave us a word: 1 Cor 2:5. The Dr. said the chemo will not heal, it was in liver. The cancer count was 22000. Now tumor is gone, blood count is normal! TRUST IN GOD!

I started out January 4 on prayer and fasting. I started with a partial fast, I considered it my wading in the kiddie pool. I am desiring to know God in a more intimate way. This Thurs., the full 3 day fast-- a breakthrough is needed.

Great message. We have been praying that God would reveal some things we suspected with our teenagers and give us the grace to get through it, well last night one of them went to jail, he's home now but I bless God for uncovering the schemes of satan!

As of day 15, I am now on the liquid fast, I have a headache and my tummy is grumbling, but i really need answers to alot of things in my life, which I feel in my spirit the answers are lurking, but I don't know how to decipher, pray for me.

So funny you would talk about crowns. I was sharing with my husband today that I want my christian walk to be centered and focused on the end result-the five different crowns we may receive at the Judgement Seat of Christ. PTL- I am persevering!!!

God is amazing - just yesterday (Sunday) I asked the Lord for a different scripture and I too was led to James 1 which was so refreshing. God is good and I can imagine the smile on His face looking at all in this fast - raise hands to Him our Yahweh.

God has given me the strength to endure this fast. No food just liquids. Went to a healing service and my knees were healed. Have been in constant pain for two years. Now I am healed. Praise God!! Keep praying for me and I will pray for you. Praise!!

I got off track by not starting in the first place when it would have been so much easier......not easy but easier.
But our God is a redemptive God. He simply wants to meet us where we are.

I have to share this. I am in Day 13, three days behind you. Yesterday, I almost gave in; but I cried out to God and He strengthened me. I know God wants me to do this. When you reach your finish line, pray for the ones who are yet to cross.

Day sixteen but day 14 for me. 2day quite challenging, received news of death of a relative. Got really angry with my daughter. At the same time I see the manifestations of a couple of things the Lord spoke to me during the fast last year.

I began the fast on the 1st. I told the Lord I wanted more of Him and wanted to know what His will was for my life. Out of no where my Pastor told me he was going to Ordain me for my minister's license & I also received the Holy Spirit and spoke.

James 1:12 spoke to me because this morn my "lust to drink coffee" came over me. Then, the Holy Spirit helped me not to give in. It has been hard, but worth knowing Christ in a deeper more intimate way. My husband has already almost quit drinking.
