We recently traveled to Haiti to see firsthand the devastation from the earthquake. I can tell you the food you have supplied and the support you have given is at work. Pictures cannot do justice to the pain and suffering we witnessed. From the emergency medical camps to the streets of Port-au-Prince, this is a nation in need. To all of you who have so graciously supported Mission Bread of Life…thank you. We're going to do everything we can do to continue our efforts, and we've already committed to do it the rest of the year. You know we're blessed to be a blessing, so thank you for being a blessing!

"We can't do everything, but we can do something!"

Is this not the fast I have chosen...to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter - when you see the naked, to clothe him...?

Feeding the Hungry - Soul: Mind: Body

During the second week of our Annual 21-day fast in January, God began to speak to me through His Word in such a clear and powerful way. I was reading Isaiah 58:6, "Is this not the fast that I have chosen..."

As I read on, these words stood out, "Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out; When you see the naked, that you cover him" (Isaiah 58:7).

I heard the Lord say to me, "Feed the hungry children, the orphans and the widows." It is a burden that grows on my heart every day.

According to one statistic, a child dies from hunger and related causes every 6 seconds in the world. God has broken my heart over the needs of these children and I know yours is, too. That is why I want to tell you about Mission: Bread of Life.

It is our mandate for 2010 to feed hungry bodies and souls. We want to increase our efforts from providing 540,000 meals a month to provide one million meals a month. And we continue to feed the world spiritual bread through our Kingdom Connection television broadcast.

This ministry would not be possible without partners like you. That's why I want to make sure you know how much I appreciate you. Thank all of you for what you have already done for God's Kingdom. I know He will richly bless you for every soul you have touched through your prayers, giving and fasting.

Together, through Free Chapel and Jentezen Franklin Media Ministries, we have given over $1 million to local and foreign missions to reach the lost and share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ!

Here's a brief look back at how you have helped touch lives over the past year and continue to through our ministry together:

• Each month we serve 540,000 meals to the hungry and impoverished in Haiti.
• by supporting Amazon Medical Missions of Peru, we take medical help and the gospel message to hundreds of villages along the Amazon River.
• In Peru, we sponsor efforts to drill for fresh water wells and build homes for desperate families.
• Closer to home, we provide monthly support to "No Longer Bound," "3 Dimensional Life," and "New Beginnings" to help men, women and teens recover from substance abuse.
• Our KidsLIFE program ministers to underprivileged children in our community through weekly Bible lessons and in practical ways like providing book bags, school supplies and even Christmas gifts.
• His Harvest House is our local food ministry. In 2009, we gave over 4 million pounds of food to feed the hungry in our community. We feed and pray with over 400 families a month!

Our partners are such a vital part of this ministry and there is so much I will be sharing with you about Mission: Bread of Life in the coming months of what God has shown me through fasting and prayer.

But all of our efforts depend on your prayers and support. Would you prayerfully consider what God would have you sow to help further our efforts to provide one million meals a month to feed hungry bodies with physical food and feed hungry souls with spiritual food through our Kingdom Connection television broadcast?
